Underdark

So The first thing that we did as a team was brain storm ideas about what game we wanted to do.
I took notes for this. (sorry they are a bit messy)
Then for the second meeting we were finalizing an idea and then Andrew had a really good idea about the programming of two worlds flipping and we built "Underdark" from there.

We then made a a list to keep track of everyone. and gave ourselves each nicknames.

After that came the asset list. Which I helped make.  and then Charity made the concept art for it which was awesome.

So I was put on sound design and I made up folders and started to collect sounds that would fit what we needed.

Then I started working on modeling the assets. I did the bean bag first. I did the UVs and and Nicole helped me with them and the UVs for a light map since its going to be a static asset.

Then I started working on the bathtub.

Progress. I still have to do more and fix the base of the tub also make the faucet part bigger. It looks too small.

Honestly I didn't think it would look this good. Im really proud of it. I still struggle with modeling things. I think this is the best model I have done so far. And Im not even finished with it yet!

This is honestly the first model I have ever modeled and UV'Ed and done all by myself without using the automatic tool. UGH im so happy! I then but id mapped it and then exported it and put in up on the drive for the others to texture.

The mirror is modeled and UV'ed and ID'ed
On to the next thing.

The sink is next.

Nicole gave the molders some of her old models so that we can just modify them to what we need. Using Charity's concept art I changed the model to what is needed for the game. I still have to do the UV's for this and ask about the toilet paper roll. But for now I'm going to work on the toilet since I know it is going to take me awhile.

So just as I thought the toilet is taking some time. I made a mistake that took me time to fix. But I did fix it which was cool. now I have to finish it.

It has a seat, lid and and handle now!
Time to UV.

So there is something wrong where I extruded something on top of another face or something. Now I have non-manifold mesh that I have to fix.

After I finished all the models I narrowed down the sounds we were going to use and then edited them all to match more what we needed.

After the soft turn in we went back and made some more models I made the lamp post for the backyard
