Cox Conserves Game


So Griffin and I first started by thinking of 5 five or so game ideas.

Then we combined 2 of those ideas. The side scrolling shooter and the postapocalitic idea. Then talked about the assets that we needed to make for each level.

Then worked on the art. We deiced to go with a Scribblenauts look where everything is cartoony and a black outline. We also pulled inspiration from Cupphead.

So I started to work on the items and the background












Then we decided That we only are going to do one level because of the time that we had. And I also got to start figuring out GameSalad and how the coding works.

Then I also had some people critique it and they said to think about "what makes its post-apocalyptic?" So I started to redo the background and environment.



So I had Van help me out with a color palette. I so was the person who wrote the backstory.
